Post-Graduate Teaching

All post-graduate departments of the Faculty of Science of Patna University are located with the respective under-graduate departments of Patna Science College at the same building except its Mathematics department. Though most of the faculties of the College teach the PG classes, it does not have a separate PG department under its direct administrative control. The arrangement continues since the beginning of Patna University for conducting the teaching and research work effectively. The system works very well even today. Usually, a UG Head of a subject of the College takes over the reign of its PG department whenever such a situation arises. In fact, there is practically no difference between a UG and its PG department of a subject. The Principal of the college is the administrative head of the whole PSC campus.
