Rahila Imam BIOGRAPHY

Mrs Rahila Imam is a seasoned Assistant Professor serving as part-time cum guest faculty at Patna Law College, Patna University. With over three years of experience, she began her tenure at Patna University in September 2020. Before this, Rahila worked as a guest lecturer at Cyber Cell (E.O.U), Patna, in 2019, focusing on training police officers in Cyber Laws, Cyber Security, and Women’s Laws in India. Additionally, she served as a faculty member for Constitutional Law at the Indian Academy of Law and Management, New Delhi (unit of The Indian Legal Foundation (TILF), an online platform for online legal and management courses from 2019 to 2020.

Rahila holds an LL.M. from the P.G Department of Law, Patna University, where she secured the 3rd rank in 2019. She also achieved the top position in the LL.M. entrance test at Patna University in the same year. Rahila’s commitment to legal academia extends beyond teaching, as she actively participates in various academic endeavors, including designing syllabi, coordinating workshops and seminars, and preparing study materials to enhance students’ overall development. She also contributes as a committee member for the Patna Law College Newsletter, “Lex Suprema.”

With a keen interest in legal research, she has authored numerous articles and presented papers on topics such as administrative law, cyber law, and environmental laws at national and international conferences, seminars, and workshops. She has contributed a book chapter on “Cyber Forensics Significance in Cybercrime Investigation” to the book titled “Knowledge Transformation in the Digital World” and presented a research paper at the Workshop on “Indian-U.K. Socio-legal Research Writing” organized by Chanakya National Law University, Patna. 

Her areas of expertise encompass Constitutional law, administrative law, company law, environmental laws, and more, reflecting her dedication to advancing legal scholarship and education.
