On the occasion of World Earth Day, 2024,

IQAC, Patna Law College (PLC), Patna University (PU) organised a seminar on the topic ‘Planet v. Plastic’ (theme of Earth Day, 2024) on 22.04.2024 at 11:00 am at Satabdi Bhawan, Patna Law College.

The Chief Guest; Special Guest; and Key note Speaker of the programme were Prof. (Dr.) K. C. Sinha, hon’ble Vice Chancellor, PU; Prof. (Dr.) Anil Kumar, Dean, Students Welfare, PU; and Prof. (Dr.) Rash Bihari Prasad Singh, Former Vice Chancellor, PU. The function was presided over by Prof. (Dr.) Vani Bhushan, Principal, PLC. In the audience were present respected teachers of PLC including Prof. (Dr.) Y. K. Verma, Head, Faculty of Law, PU; Prof. (Dr.) Md. Sharif; Dr. Salim Jawed; Mr. Saurabh; Dr. Birender Paswan; Dr. Quemre Alam; Mr. Ravinder Kumar; Dr. Upendra Nath; and Dr. Vijay Kumar. Also, present were the staff members and students of the college. The event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by our distinguished guests and their felicitation by the senior faculties of the college. Thereafter, Dr. Salim Jawed, Assistant Professor (Sr.), PLC delivered the welcome speech for the esteemed dignitaries on the dias.
The seminar ended with the vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Birender Paswan. Dr. Quemre Alam was the convener of the programme while it was hosted by Mr. Saurabh, both Assistant Professors at PLC.
